 Due
to the unique responsibilities and tasks of Qualified Persons in Europe the Advisory Board Members of the
ECA Foundation decided to provide them with a forum for exchanging
experience, discussing current regulatory requirements, challenges and
difficulties as well as for networking.
The European Qualified Person Association was founded on 7 July 2006 and
today counts more than 1200 QPs and interested professionals across Europe
and beyond as members.
One part of the association's activities is to organise and conduct the
annual "QP Forum" to allow QPs to discuss current regulatory issues with representatives
from European Authorities (e.g. EMA).
