Content:	This Council Directive forms the basis for the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) rules in Europe. In the case of medicinal products it affects only the development work in pharmaco-toxicological testing. In German the GLP rules are found as an annex to the Chemikaliengesetz (Chemicals' Act).
