A new service has been added to the website www.gmp-compliance.org. After
the recent integration of new functions into the search engine (see field
"search in" above), now two further functions have been implemented:
1) The RSS Feed. According to Wikipedia, this is a service on websites that
- similar to a news ticker - contains the headlines with a short text
summary and a link to the original page. Once the reader has subscribed to
it, the feed displays new entries automatically. After subscribing to the
RSS feed, the subscriber can read the news in the feed reader or directly in
the web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer). Then the subscriber to an RSS feed
can follow the offered links directly and read the complete message there.
An RSS feed's address looks quite similar to that of a "normal" web page. An
RSS feed can be subscribed to on any web page that offers one by simply
clicking on the following symbol.

2) The Google ECA Gadget. Nowadays, many users have made Google their
browser home page. There, Google offers the opportunity to customise one's
own home page. These pages are called iGoogle. Here, every user can compile
so-called gadgets, the FDA e.g. has a
gadget on recalls.
After the one-off setup, the gadgets' contents are updated automatically
every time the Google page is visited. In this way, you will see the GMP
News automatically and always up to date in a preview in Google!
