for qualification of HVAC just follow the present rule independently . For old equipment define the equipment operating requirements, taking into account the process requirements for the processes that are running on the equipment (with close work and approved by process responsible technologist).
With those data, create a qualification program which will be also your periodical qualification program. For old equipment I will skip the IQ.
Don’t forget to define in your general SOP how you are going to qualify the old equipment.
