Dears,

For certain reasons dataloggers can be requested for every shipment. Here I guess that such devices are requested that are unfortunately missing. Is that right ?

In such a situation it is not easy to tell what will be the outcome of the concerned product(s). It depends on a) the heatsensitivity of the product ; b) the availability of meta data related to the transportation period such as external temperature and humidity (certified weather data) and comparison of the same on previous shipments where dataloggers were present ; c) if the containers, trucks or other transportation means were refrigerated, the records or proof the refrigeration was functioning.

In additin, it may be interesting to test in parallel product(s) of your shipment without dataloggers with product(s) from previous traced shipments using a stability indicating analytical methods. And then to compare the obtained results.

Last you will perfom a risk analysis to cover the remaining uncertainties that may impact the product(s) of your non-traced shipment before to state on the possibility to release or not your batch(es).

Other experience(s) from the Forum ?
