batch homogeneity

Contribution from Ahmed Mohsen written on 1/24/2012 at 14:11

We have an oral powder preparation which contains 2 antibiotics.
A number of samples are taken out of a single batch of the preparation. These samples are taken directly out of the mixer from different locations. By taking the samples in this manner, we can be assured that these samples are representative of the entire batch.
The question is: Is it enough to assay only one of the contained antibiotics to prove the batch homogeneity?

Many thanks in advance for advice.
